The Reading House

The Reading House is a four-bedroom lodge in North Yorkshire countryside near Richmond, sleeping eight across the main house and a separate ground-floor annexe. Three bedrooms sit upstairs—one zip-and-link (configurable as super-king or twins), two doubles and a twin—with the master bedroom having its own en-suite. The annexe contains a fourth double bedroom with wet room, offering more accessible accommodation and privacy for part of your group. Three bathrooms serve the property in total.

Inside, an open-plan living area with large windows overlooks the grounds, with seating and dining arranged for group gatherings. The kitchen is equipped for anything from breakfast to full dinners. Artwork and contemporary design run through the interiors without clutter. Outside, the private grounds include a hot tub for evening relaxation, a fire pit, grill and pizza oven for outdoor cooking, and space to move about freely. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided. The property is non-smoking and welcomes one pet. Richmond's market town has shops and cafés within reach, while the wider landscape opens up for walks and exploration.
