Wandale Barn

Wandale Barn is a detached conversion in Ryedale, within the Howardian Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Four bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodate eight guests comfortably. The ground floor holds a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, a kitchen with electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast area, utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a separate toilet. Upstairs, two king beds (one with its own ensuite bathroom and shower cubicle) sit alongside a double bedroom and a twin room accessible through the first of the kings; a family bathroom with bath and shower serves the twin and double. One dog stays free of charge.

An enclosed garden with terrace, BBQ and furniture backs the property. Private parking accommodates four vehicles, and a bike store is on site. Essentials including heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are provided, along with a travel cot and highchair. The location works well for walking and cycling in the surrounding hills and valleys. Hovingham village lies three miles away, Castle Howard ten, Helmsley also ten with its Walled Garden and Duncombe Park, and Pickering thirteen—from where steam trains run through the North Yorks Moors to Whitby. No smoking inside.
