Waterside Holidays - Honeysuckle
North Yorkshire
Photo: Google Maps
Honeysuckle is a ground-floor cottage on the banks of the River Esk in Ruswarp, sleeping two people with exclusive use of the property. Everything here is geared towards comfort: the open-plan living space has a woodburner, smart TV and French doors opening onto riverside decking; the kitchen is fitted with an induction hob, air fryer, dishwasher and coffee machine; and the bedroom contains a king-size bed. Heating, electricity, wifi and bed linen are all included, along with initial logs for the fire and a welcome pack.
The real distinction is access to the river itself—there's a private rowing boat available, and the decking has direct steps down to the water. The grounds include a sitting area with garden furniture. Fishing is available on-site for an additional charge (a licence is required). You have private parking for one car. The setting puts the North Yorkshire Moors National Park within easy reach.
Note that the garden and grounds each have a step, and there is an unfenced river nearby. No children, and smoking is not permitted.
