Whitehall Farm Cottages – Meadow View is a converted barn on the North Yorkshire coast near Staintondale, 9 miles from Scarborough. The single open-plan living space combines sitting and dining areas with a kitchen that looks out over open countryside and towards the sea. A double bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower complete the ground-floor layout. The essentials – heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi – are included, and you have your own parking on site.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking: two electric ovens, two hobs, microwave and full-size fridge mean you can prepare meals as simple or ambitious as you like. Entertainment inside runs to Freeview television, DVD and CD players. Outside, a large communal garden has a sitting area and barbecue. A cot and highchair are available if needed. One well-behaved pet stays free.

This is a quiet base for exploring the Yorkshire Coast – straightforward enough for a short break, but set back enough from the bustle to genuinely feel removed from everyday life. The property does not permit smoking.
