Grendon Lakes campground in Northamptonshire with showers, set on a country estate with fishing and watersports lakes.
About Grendon Lakes
Grendon Lakes spreads across a large country estate in Northamptonshire with 10 fishing lakes and two dedicated watersports lakes. The site has showers and pitches suitable for camping. An Alpine clubhouse serves as a gathering point, and paintballing is available on site for those wanting activities beyond water-based pursuits.
The setting appeals to anglers, water sports enthusiasts, and those after a quieter base away from town. The Hidden Sauna is a short walk away, and paintballing facilities are just down the road. Staff are straightforward to deal with and booking is straightforward. Note that toilet facilities are basic, so this is not a site for anyone expecting modern bathroom amenities.

What visitors say
We recently stayed at Grendon Lake Village 4 campsite for a stag weekend, and it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The campsite was perfect for a large group. The team thoughtfully placed us in an area away from others, which meant we could enjoy ourselves, play music, and make a bit of noise without worrying about disturbing anyone. It struck a great balance between having freedom and being respectful of other guests. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and laid-back throughout. They were always available if we needed anything but otherwise trusted us to get on with enjoying the weekend, which was really appreciated. They provided wood and coal for the BBQ and campfire, which made everything so much easier, and the facilities had everything we needed. There was also a great open grass area where we could play football and organise games as a group. Overall, it was an ideal venue for a stag do—well maintained, welcoming, and perfectly set up for groups looking to have a fun weekend away. We’d happily return and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a group event, camping trip, or celebration.

Such a beautiful and fun spot for a hen do! So reasonably priced, great food, amazing scenery, fantastic staff. The beds are so comfy in the bell tents and the snug area, kitchen with fridge freezer, fire pit and bbq make this the absolute perfect glamping spot. Having our own private toilets was 10/10 as well!

Grendon Lakes hosted our wedding and we have absolutely no regrets. It is a really stunning place, and the staff are absolutely incredible. They're quick to get back to any queries you have, they try their best to help you put together the wedding that you want to have, and on the day they help everything go perfectly so that you don't have to stress about a thing! As a couple who planned everything ourselves we were a bit nervous about how it would all go, but we needn't have worried at all. The lakeside is absolutely stunning, and to be able to have our ceremony outdoors next to such beautiful scenery was a dream come true for us both, and then having both the lodge and the marquee right there on site made it so easy to have everything all together exactly how we wanted it to be. Again, a huge thank you to the whole team, particularly Stacey who guided us through the day, but also to everyone that helped us be able to have the wedding that we wanted. If you're not sure whether or not this place is right for you, I'm telling you it is!

We stayed in the yurts. Everything was great on arrival. The camp staff are lovely and very friendly. They had everything covered. We just had to arrive and enjoy. We were very lucky with the weather, so that obviously helped too.
