About Travelodge Wellingborough
Travelodge Wellingborough is a low-rise, purpose-built hotel spread across three floors at Enstone Court, offering 78 straightforward en-suite rooms. It's a functional, no-frills base rather than a characterful old building, but it does the practical things well, with a lift for easy access and family and accessible rooms among the options.
Guests get 24-hour reception, free WiFi, and the choice of eating in the on-site restaurant or grabbing something from the snack bar, with breakfast and drinks available too. There's a bar for an evening pint, and free on-site parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis or by registering a vehicle at reception. Pets are welcome, which suits those travelling with dogs.
The location is built for convenience rather than sightseeing, with easy access to the A45 and A509 making it a sensible stop for exploring Northamptonshire and nearby towns. Locally there's fishing, a pub, and further restaurants and entertainment within reach, giving guests a few options beyond the hotel itself.
Guests consistently praise this hotel for its spacious rooms and the friendly and helpful nature of its staff.
Other reviews mention the atmosphere can be affected by disruptive guests, and rooms can be poorly maintained.
