About Huntlaw Hideaway

Tucked away on a working farm with resident pigs, Huntlaw Hideaway offers a genuinely rural escape in the Northumberland countryside. This tiny glamping site sits amid green fields about 20 minutes from Ponteland, with local pubs within easy reach for evening meals and the Northumberland National Park roughly half an hour's drive for serious walkers. Hadrian's Wall, fishing lakes, golf courses and castles are all on the doorstep, while the coast at Whitley Bay or Blyth beckons in under an hour.

Facilities are basic – there's no running water on site and only portable toilets with shower access – so it's one for those happy to rough it a little in exchange for peace and seclusion. Dogs are welcome year-round, and you can also nip into Newcastle in about 40 minutes when you fancy swapping rural calm for city buzz.
