Mullins House is a period cottage on the Brinkburn Estate, a historic site in the Coquet Valley near Morpeth. You arrive into a substantial ground floor with a living and dining space warmed by a wood burner, and a kitchen fitted with an oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics for self-catering. Upstairs, two bedrooms each have an ensuite—one with both bath and shower, the other with a shower—and the beds convert between super kingsize and twin configurations.

The cottage sits within 35 acres of woodland and landscaped grounds (shared with other holiday lets on the estate), with direct access to walking routes through the trees. River fishing is available 500 yards away. You have private parking for two cars on-site, and one dog can stay free, kept on a lead in the grounds. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the burner are provided, and a welcome pack awaits your arrival. The property does not permit smoking.
