Fishermans Corner

Northumberland

View on Google Maps

Beadnell is a working fishing village on the Northumberland coast, known for water sports and as a gateway to the Farne Islands. Fishermans Corner sits close enough to the beach for a quick walk, and is privately yours for the duration of your stay. The cottage has two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with bunks—plus a single bathroom with shower, and can sleep four.

Downstairs is an open living area with a Smart TV and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer. Upstairs holds both bedrooms. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. There's parking for one car on the property. The grounds are shared with other cottages on site, and there are steps in the grounds to be aware of. Smoking is not permitted inside.

From here, Seahouses is a mile along the coast—a traditional harbour town where regular boat trips head out to the Farne Islands to see seals and seabirds. Bamburgh, with its castle, is another two miles further on. Inland, Alnwick Castle and its formal gardens are a short drive away. The area suits families and groups wanting a seaside base without needing to book activities far in advance; boat trips, pubs, shops and a village store are all within reach on foot or a short drive.
