Newbiggin by the Sea sits on the Northumberland coast with a working beach, a promenade for walking, and enough local life to keep a seaside holiday moving without needing to drive anywhere. Gibson House stands within that village rhythm—close enough to reach the shops and The New Ship pub on foot, but far enough back to be a proper base rather than a noise-facing bedsit. The beach itself is a two-minute walk away.
The house holds three bedrooms and two bathrooms across two floors. Downstairs is an open-plan kitchen-diner with a gas hob, electric oven and dishwasher, plus a sitting room with a Smart TV and electric woodburner. Upstairs, one double has an ensuite shower, a second double is separate, and a third bedroom has two single beds. A utility room with a washing machine handles practicalities. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are included; one car parks on site. One well-behaved pet stays free. The house is yours alone—no shared facilities or other guests—and smoking is not permitted inside.
The village has everything from fish and chip shops to an Italian ice cream parlour, plus a 13th-century church that featured in the Vera television series. Morpeth, with its Edwardian arcade and wider choice of restaurants and bars, lies eight miles inland if you want a bigger town for an evening out.
