Granary Cottage was originally part of a substantial Victorian country house. The building now stands independently within a private courtyard, with views across farmland towards the Cheviot Hills and the edge of Northumberland National Park nearby.
The ground floor holds the living and dining space with a smart TV, a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and the main bedroom—a kingsize with its own bathroom and shower. There is also a separate shower room on this level. Upstairs, the second bedroom has two single beds. The property sleeps four and comes as a whole to yourself, with wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels all included. An enclosed garden with patio, BBQ and seating makes use of the courtyard; parking for two cars is on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
Alnwick and its castle are within reach, and the Vale of Whittingham offers walking and rural exploration. The cottage does not permit smoking. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
