Hillside Cottage

Through the door of Hillside Cottage, you enter a ground-floor living space with a woodburner and 43-inch Smart TV, opening into a fully equipped kitchen-dining room. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed and single sofa bed, the other with a double bunk and single—each with its own ensuite or bathroom. A roll-top bath, heated towel rails, and hot water are provided throughout. The property sleeps four and comes with essentials including electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels.

A walled courtyard contains the private hot tub for four people, with garden furniture and a sitting-out area. One car can park on-site; additional spaces are available on-road nearby. The cottage accepts one pet free of charge. Haltwhistle itself sits between Hadrian's Wall—a World Heritage Site just three miles away—and the Pennine Way, making it a natural base for walking, cycling and exploring Roman forts at Housesteads, Vindolanda and Chester's. The town is close to Sainsbury's for supplies, and has a play park, a summer open-air swimming pool, and various other activities. No smoking is permitted inside.
