Hilltop Bothy

Alnmouth is a small village on the Northumberland coast with independent shops, cafés and characterful pubs within walking distance, plus a beach for coastal walks. Hilltop Bothy is a single-storey cottage adjoining a traditional farmhouse, a short stroll from the village centre. It's a private space for two with its own patio and side garden.

Inside, an open-plan living area has a wood stove, sofa, armchair and dining table for two. The kitchen is compact but functional, with an electric hob, induction cooker, microwave and the basics for self-catering. The bedroom contains a double bed and an en-suite shower room. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is private parking for one car.

The location makes a good base for exploring the Northumberland coast and countryside. Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Garden are five miles north; Warkworth Castle and Holy Island are within an hour's drive. No smoking inside the property.
