We recently stayed at the CL site in our motorhome. We were greatest by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. There are 5 very spacious pitches with easy access to fresh water and waste water disposal a few meters away. This place is just a 20 minute walk from the centre of Alnwick.

We had the barn for 7 nights Linda the host was very lovely and offered ideas of places to visit during the stay. Our room was cleaned every day, there were tea and coffee and milk (in a mini fridge) a shower room and very comfortable bed. The area was very quiet considering we were literally 5 mins from the bypass. There were shops close by and a pub. Alnwick castle was an easy 30 minute walk away.

Simple campsite, no frills but pleasant and owner nice. Close to Alnwick. £7 taxi ride into the town and the amazing castle.

We spent 4 nights at this lovely CL. Very handy for the town, very secluded even though its half a mile from the A1. Very little traffic noise. Very good walks to the local area including the beach in Alnmouth. The owner was a delight to deal with, she couldn't of been more helpful. I would of given 5 stars if the water tap was in the actual site, this is always a problem for motorhomes. But it didn't spoil our stay.
