Hoots Cottage

Whittingham is a quiet village in the heart of Northumberland, surrounded by countryside that draws walkers and explorers. Hoots Cottage sits here as a traditional stone house, offering three bedrooms and one bathroom to accommodate up to six people. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and one well-behaved dog is welcome.

Inside, the layout centres on a living room with a log burner and comfortable seating, while the kitchen—also heated by a wood burner—is equipped for cooking proper meals. A super king bedroom is on the ground floor; upstairs are a king and a twin room. Bed linen, towels and electricity are included. The cottage is non-smoking throughout.

Beyond the back door lies a private garden with an outdoor dining area, leading down to a riverside spot where you can sit with morning coffee or an evening drink.
