Alnwick itself sits at a crossroads: the castle and its famous gardens are on the doorstep, the Heritage Coast runs 5½ miles east, and westward lie the Cheviot Hills and walking country around Rothbury. Jubilee House is a Grade II listed property in the town centre, a converted 1830s coach house now split between a ground-floor open-plan living space and two bedrooms upstairs. One has a king bed, the other two singles; there's a single bathroom with both a bath and shower.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave and dishwasher mean you can prepare meals or just make coffee and leave. Parking is on site for one car, and there's a bike store if you want to explore locally. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included. The house is yours alone, sleeping four. Pubs, shops and restaurants are 300 yards away, and no smoking is permitted inside.
It works equally well for a long weekend or a week's base to work outward—whether you're drawn to the film locations, the formal gardens, or the less-visited stretches of coast and moorland that make up much of the region beyond the town.

What guests say
Lovely cottage in a fantastic location, a quick easy walk into Alnwick with a huge range of shops and restaurants. A few minor issues with the house due to the new owners having recently taken over, but resolved quickly. New owners super helpful and responsive. Thanks for a great stay!
