Littlecroft
Northumberland
Littlecroft stands on the main street through Alnmouth, a village known for its colourful Georgian architecture and position where the River Aln meets the sea. The house itself is arranged over two floors with space for eight guests across five bedrooms—four doubles and a single on the upper level, plus another single downstairs. Three bathrooms serve the property, including an ensuite and a bedroom with its own slipper bath.
The ground floor centres on a kitchen and dining room equipped for proper cooking, with a separate utility room and a living room where an open fire is ready to use. Upstairs, bedrooms are paired with the bathing facilities they need. Outside, terraced gardens wrap round the property with patio seating and furniture; there are steps to different levels, the upper one unfenced. Parking includes a garage and additional private space for a second car. Wi-Fi, bed linen, towels and electricity are all included; heating is via gas central heating. One dog is welcome.
The beach lies a two-minute walk away, and from Alnmouth the Northumberland coast opens out—Bamburgh Castle, Dunstanburgh, and the longer heritage trail north all accessible by car or on foot. Alnwick and its castle are nearby. Warkworth village with its own ruins sits about two miles along the coast for those who enjoy walking.
