Maltings Cottage

Maltings Cottage is a stone-built townhouse in Rothbury, a small market town on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. Ground-floor living means you walk straight into a bright main room with French doors that open onto a private, fully enclosed patio garden—perfect for outdoor meals or simply sitting out between walks. The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking, with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and all the usual equipment, plus a separate cloakroom on the same level.

Upstairs are three bedrooms: two doubles and one single, sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. There is parking for one car on site. One dog can stay free. The cottage does not permit smoking.

Rothbury is close to good walking country in the surrounding hills. The town itself has shops, pubs and restaurants within a hundred yards, and the River Coquet runs nearby. The property suits families or groups of up to five, and is yours alone for the duration of your stay.
