Paddock Cottage
Northumberland
Paddock Cottage stands on a working farm near Whalton, a few miles outside Morpeth in Northumberland. This semi-detached stone building sleeps four, plus there is room for a baby in a cot. Inside, the ground floor holds a sitting room with a smart TV, a separate dining room, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one double and one twin—along with a bathroom that has a bath and shower over. Gas central heating runs throughout, and Wi-Fi is included.
The cottage comes with an enclosed garden and patio for sitting out, parking for two cars on site, and bed linen and towels provided. No smoking is permitted. The location is genuinely rural, with open fields all around and quiet lanes for walking. Whalton village has a pub nearby, while Morpeth itself—a short drive away—offers shops and cafés along the riverside. The Northumberland coast is within reasonable reach for beach days, and there are several historic properties and gardens in the area to explore, among them Belsay Hall and Wallington.
