Railway Cottage
Northumberland
Railway Cottage sits where the Cheviot Hills drop down to the edge of Northumberland National Park. The cottage is part of a small terraced row, fully renovated, with views that stretch across open country towards the heather-covered ridges and the College valley beyond. The village shops are four miles away; a pub and restaurant sit three miles down the road.
Inside, the ground floor holds a living room with an open fire and a kitchen/dining space equipped for proper cooking. Upstairs are two bedrooms – one with a double bed and its own ensuite wet room, the other with two single beds – plus a main bathroom with a bath and shower. Electricity, heating, bed linen and wi-fi are covered. The enclosed garden has a patio and seating area; parking for two cars is on site. One pet is welcome. The cottage is non-smoking.
