Railway Cottages - Dove Cottage

Dove Cottage is a single-storey stone building with ground-floor access, part of a trio of attached properties on a small site. Two bedrooms, each with its own ensuite shower room, provide sleeping space for four. The open-plan living area flows into a dining kitchen, with French doors opening onto a fully enclosed sitting-out area where you can use the garden furniture. One bedroom has a double bed, the other two singles. A highchair is available if needed.

The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine are all provided. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included; heating is oil central. You have private parking for two cars on site and the whole cottage to yourselves. One well-behaved pet stays free. There is no smoking inside.

Four miles from the A1, this location puts you within reach of Druridge Bay Country Park and the long sandy stretch of the Northumberland Heritage Coast. Warkworth, with its 12th-century castle and busy harbour village atmosphere, is 3 miles away; Amble, a working fishing port with shops and restaurants, is nearby. Alnwick Castle lies 10 miles distant. The grounds span two acres, shared with other properties on the site.
