Sandpiper Rest

Ellington sits close to Druridge Bay, where long sandy beaches meet a country park that draws walkers and nature watchers year-round. Sandpiper Rest is a modern cottage sleeping five, completed in 2024, with three bedrooms—one with an en-suite shower—and a family bathroom on the first floor. Downstairs, a living and dining room opens through French doors onto an enclosed garden with patio and seating; the kitchen is equipped for cooking, with a breakfast area adjoining. One dog stays free, and guests get a welcome pack and doggy extras.

The Plough Inn is within walking distance for an evening meal or a drink. Cresswell's beach is a short drive away, as is the wider sweep of activities around Druridge Bay. Parking covers two cars, and there's an electric car charging point on site (charges apply). Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included. The property is non-smoking. A cot and highchair are available on request.
