Sandsedge Cottage is a converted barn built from the local stone, its character defined by exposed beams and original stonework. The living room's arched window frames views across the surrounding landscape, and a multi-fuel burner provides warmth through colder months. Three bedrooms sit upstairs—a double, two singles, and a bunk room—alongside a bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, and there's a washer-dryer for longer stays. One well-behaved dog can stay free of charge.
The cottage stands within a small restored cluster on the edge of Druridge Bay, a stretch of golden sand backed by dunes that's recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A 200-yard walk brings you to the beach itself, where the bay's broad sweep makes for straightforward coastal walking. The Plough Inn is nearby for evenings out. Parking for two cars sits on the property, and a garage offers storage space. Essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen and wifi are covered. A sitting area with garden furniture and a barbecue looks out towards the bay. Note that the cottage has steep spiral stairs.
