Sea Breeze

This first-floor apartment sits across the road from Blyth's wide sandy beach, backed by dunes that shelter nesting birds and other wildlife. The position means sea views from the Juliet balcony and easy access to the beach itself. The open-plan living space has a smart TV, dining area and kitchen with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and microwave, so you can cook properly or grab fish and chips from the shop a short walk away. Two bedrooms sleep four: one double and one with twin singles. There's one bathroom with a bath and shower, and a highchair is available if needed.

Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. You get private parking for two cars on site. The apartment doesn't allow smoking. Walking south along the coast leads to Whitley Bay and Tynemouth; heading north into Blyth town centre takes about ten minutes on foot and gives you access to restaurants, cafes and a range of shops. The beach itself attracts surfers and swimmers year-round, and dolphins are sometimes spotted from the balcony.
