Soppit Farm Cottages - Grooms Cottage
Northumberland

Elsdon sits in the heart of Northumberland National Park, a village built on medieval lines where the surrounding landscape opens into farmland and woodland. Grooms Cottage is one of four properties on Soppit Farm, arranged around a courtyard within grounds that stretch across 20 acres. The setting suits walkers and cyclists wanting a quiet base; Hadrian's Wall and the coast are both within reach, and guests are welcome to wander the farm's own land.
The cottage itself is compact: a single bedroom with a super king bed, a shower room, and a combined living and dining space with a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Everything needed for a stay is included—heating, electricity, bed linen, and Wi-Fi. On-site parking accommodates two cars, and there's a bike store. A wood-fired hot tub is available for use by arrangement (a daily charge applies), shared with the other cottages on the farm. The grounds contain picnic benches and a sitting-out area. The property does not permit smoking.
