The Haining is a rural stone cottage in Northumberland, a short distance from Newcastle upon Tyne. It sleeps six guests across three bedrooms and two bathrooms: two with kingsize beds upstairs, plus a galleried double sofa bed. One bathroom has a shower cubicle, the other a wet room with shower. The property is yours alone, with private parking for four cars and a bike store on site.
Two open fireplaces—one in the living room, one in the kitchen-diner—are ready for use. The kitchen has a gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer for self-catering. A utility room contains a washing machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; initial fuel for the wood burners is also provided. The cottage sits on its own grounds with an enclosed garden, patio and seating, and there is a pub within a mile. No smoking inside.
The property draws water from a natural spring, and a small stream runs about half a kilometre away on the north side. One dog is welcome to stay.
