The Old Cottage is an 18th-century stone building in the village of Lambley, within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Guests have the whole property to themselves: a two-bedroom cottage with two bathrooms, sleeping up to four people. One dog can stay free of charge.
The ground floor contains the living room, with a woodburning stove and Freeview TV, plus a kitchen-diner fitted with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and microwave. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a bathroom with bath and shower. Upstairs, the main bedroom has a double bed and an ensuite shower room; the second bedroom has two single beds. Electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. The cottage has central heating and is non-smoking.
Outside, a patio area leads to an enclosed back garden with seating and a firepit. There is bike storage on site and on-road parking. The village sits at the edge of the Pennines, with walking and cycling readily available. Lambley itself has the essentials for a quiet break; children's equipment including a travel cot, highchair and stairgate is available on request.
