Lambley Farm - Ghillies

The South Tyne Valley's quiet farmland is home to Lambley Farm – Ghillies, a ground-floor cottage within a cluster of converted barns set across 90 acres. You get the whole place to yourself: an open-plan living and dining space with French doors onto an enclosed garden, a kitchen with electric cooker and washer-dryer, two bedrooms (one with a four-poster double, one with a single bed), and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Wi-Fi and heating are included, as is parking on site.

The setting suits families, couples, or anyone after countryside quiet. One dog travels free. An on-site courtyard with seating and a BBQ hut are shared facilities. The South Tyne River runs just 50 yards away and supports trout and salmon fishing, available to book in advance for a fee. Smoking is not permitted inside.
