Woodland Edge Lodge
Northumberland
Woodland Edge Lodge is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom property that sleeps four, set among trees within reach of Wooler. The open-plan living area connects the kitchen and sitting space, and a private veranda opens onto the woodland setting—a genuine advantage in a rural location where external space matters. Bedrooms are separate, each offering a retreat after time outdoors. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard; the kitchen is equipped for self-catering. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
Wooler itself sits a short walk away, recognised as a starting point for the Cheviots and for access into Northumberland National Park. The coast—Bamburgh, Holy Island and Alnmouth among the options—is within a reasonable drive. A pub lies within a mile, handy for an evening without cooking. The lodge does not permit smoking. This is a place suited to walkers and those wanting genuine quiet, not a social hub; the woodland setting delivers on that front.
