About Caistor Hall Hotel

Caistor Hall Hotel sits within its own grounds close to Norwich, with gardens giving the place a settled, countryside feel despite being within easy reach of the city centre. Free on-site parking makes it a straightforward base for exploring the area, whether that's golf, fishing or the local pubs and restaurants nearby.

Rooms are traditional in style, with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks available in room, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children, who can also order from a kids' menu. The hotel also has a bridal suite and hosts weddings, alongside a bar and garden for relaxing outdoors.

The restaurant is a particular strength, with tasting menus that draw praise for their presentation and the range of courses on offer, and a lunch menu that's considered good value. Staff are attentive and the service is a consistent highlight. Breakfast, free WiFi and 24-hour reception round out the practical side of a stay here.

Fantastic food, perfectly balanced, with wine pairings that were phenominal. The incredibly attentive and lovely staff elevated the whole experience too. A truly pleasurable afternoon was had. I could go on but to be honest, this amazing culinary experience will speak for itself. You should probably book if you got this far. I feel i should add a note in defense of this fantastic restaurant... Other reviews complaining about portion size are clearly not understanding what this restaurant is. This is a Michelin starred restaurant not a Happy Eater, if you want to be uncomfortably full afterwards this isn't the place for you. However if you want flavours that are balanced in ways you didn't know was possible then book yourself in.

Beautiful country house - albeit the signs at night not great as we drove past a number of times! The service was engaging and enthusiastic if not slightly below expectations. Portions very small.

This was the last but not the least of our 2025 Christmas build up meals, we had the Stataday lunch 6 course tasting menu. Every course was a delight to eat, beautifully cooked and presented, service was just as impeccable. It was a wonderful way to end our Norfolk short break
