About Holiday Inn Norwich City

Holiday Inn Norwich City suits football fans heading to Carrow Road as much as it does business travellers or couples exploring the city, with 150 rooms offering everything from stadium views to straightforward comfort near the train station. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, air conditioning and drinks on hand, and family rooms and accessible rooms are available for those who need them.

A restaurant and bar cover meals and drinks on-site, with a breakfast spread praised for its range of options and kids' meals available for younger guests. Room service and laundry service add convenience, while the gym, business services and meeting rooms make it a workable choice for those combining work with a stay. Staff are generally helpful, though service standards are not always consistent.

Pets are welcome, and luggage storage is handy for those exploring before check-in or after check-out. Parking is available nearby within the football grounds car park, though spaces are limited and charges apply, so it is worth planning ahead, particularly on match days.

I had a fantastic stay at the Holiday Inn Norwich. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help. Check-in was quick and easy, and my room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the hotel was quiet despite being busy. The breakfast was excellent, with a great choice of hot and cold options, all fresh and well presented. The facilities were well maintained, and the overall standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel was outstanding. The location was also ideal, making it easy to get around Norwich. Overall, it was a very enjoyable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to the whole team for making my stay such a pleasant experience!

Having used the Premier Inn a number of times in the city, which is looking very tired, we thought try this. Room was twin bed overlooking the pitch. Bed comfortable, good shower and clean. So happy with room. Restaurant used for breakfast was very good. Decor not tired like Premier, good service. Only complaint would be the usual scrambled egg which comes out of a packet. But everything else, very good. Location, nice in terms of near the river, so nice to walk along into town but if you have intentions of being within the town, for shopping and entertainment, then it's a good 25 mins walk involving steps. Not unpleasant at all just need to factor in. All in all, very happy and recommend.

Had a wonderful night staying at the Carrow Road Holiday Inn. The room was perfect, very spacious and comfortable, and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The view overlooking the best football club in the world,, made it even better. The hotel also feels much quieter and more secluded compared to the busy streets of Norwich, which made it really relaxing. It’s also very close to Morrisons which is really handy if you need food or supplies during your stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed only for a weekend but we really appreciated the quiet and location of the hotel. Only 5 minutes walk to the centre and the train station. Having a Morrison even closer to the hotel is ideal if you need to do some shopping
