What visitors say
Helen, her daughter and Calum were fantastic all the way through the build up to our stay and on the weekend itself. They did everything to make it as easy as possible to run our retreat & everyone was blown away by the accommodation. It’s the perfect mix between the authentic Glamping experience but with full kitchens and facilities to make life easy - we’ll definitely be back

We hired all 3 lodges for a hen party, it was fantastic! Helen the owner was most helpful in recommending local services and being there on our arrival. The hot tubs were amazing and the swing seats a lovely touch. Having the social outside area was perfect for us all to gather outside under shelter from the rain. We decorated the barn and partied the night away. It was a comfortable alternative private venue with a very high spec.

My family and some friends (4 adults + 4 kids) just spent 3 nights at Sweeney Farm Glamping. We had the most fantastic stay, and there are already talks of going back. We stayed in the 8 person Safari Tent and there was more than enough space for us all, at no point did we feel on top of each other. The accommodation felt well equipt and well thought out. I don't recall anyone voicing that we were missing anything. The rooms are undoubtedly basic but very clean, and comfy, no complaints from any of our group. If I were to be hyper critical, a lot of the internal doors were very squeeky which did cause some waking up of children in the evening time, but going forward would be an easy fix. The facilities are amazing, which the use of the hot tub, BBQ, pizza oven, laundry room, and outdoor eating area. The hot tub was fantastic, well positioned, clean, and plenty big enough for our group. What really made our stay was the incredible outdoor space and views. The kids loved seeing the pig, sheep, and cows. For anyone that might be concerned, there were no farm smell issues at all. For how close you are to the farm the area smells clean. I can not comment on the booking experience as our friends booked but I am not aware of any issues at all. We will definitely be staying again, and have already recommended, Sweeney Farm Glamping.

Just stayed at Sweeney Lodge for 3 nights with a group of hiking buddies. Have to say the lodges are brilliant. The owner was really accommodating and helpful with all our enquiry's. The hot tub sauna and ice bath are perfect for winding down before capping your night of with a cold one in front of the log burner 💪👌🥾🙏
