What visitors say
This small museum focuses on the history of Oxfordshire, unlike the larger museums elsewhere in the city. There are only two small rooms with a variety of displays without an obvious grouping of items. The information panels were helpful and clear. One does not need more than 20 minutes to walk through the exhibitions, and unlike the national museums nearby, this small museum is not free. There is a charge of £4.00.

A very small museum with a few interesting exhibits but not a lot to see here. There are far better museums in Oxford. It’s free though so can’t complain too much. They have some good activities for kids like treasure hunts and a few good interactive exhibits. Staff are friendly and helpful. Takes about 20-30 mins to see everything here.
