About No 192 Oxford
Step into a room at No 192 Oxford and you'll find an en-suite bathroom, drinks laid on, and in some cases a view over the garden rather than the street. With just 12 rooms, the hotel keeps things compact, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Free WiFi runs throughout, and reception is staffed around the clock, so late arrivals and early starts are equally straightforward.
The hotel sits on Iffley Road, a residential stretch that puts Oxford's historic university city within easy reach for a day of exploring colleges and museums. Guests looking to eat out are well placed too, with a restaurant, pub and bar all nearby, along with other eateries and entertainment options for evenings when you'd rather not stray far.
There's also a golf course nearby for anyone wanting to fit in a round between sightseeing. No 192 Oxford works well as a straightforward base: a comfortable room, a garden to look out on, and the city itself just a walk away.
What guests say
Had a weekend break staying at no 192 and couldn’t fault it. The room was clean, spacious and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is in the perfect location to explore the city but far enough away from the main streets to avoid the noise of people on a night out. The self check in was seamless with all the information needed sent over clearly and with plenty of time. Would definitely visit again!

I recently had a lovely stay at No.192 Oxford. The location is spot-on—situated on a peaceful stretch of Iffley Road, it’s just a short stroll from the city centre and excellent transport links, yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The room was immaculately clean, thoughtfully furnished, and super comfortable—perfect for unwinding after a day exploring. The cozy bed, excellent shower, and smart design added to the overall experience.

The rooms are finished to a high standard, thoughfully decorated. Although it is self check in (which was super quick and easy) and unmanned the staff are available on phone and email to help with any queries throughout your stay! The location is perfect, 20 minute walk from the center - a city break with the quietness of a residential area.

We had booked to say here Saturday night. Before you go ahead and book, it is a detached family home that’s been converted into multiple rooms. The front door to the property is HEAVY and very loud, we heard it from our room upstairs. We were asleep and kept getting woken up by the door. It’s a 30 mins walk from the town centre, and a longer walk from Oxford station. This wasn’t an issue as we already knew that. But it was very shocking to come across a house, thinking it was a hotel. The pictures do not show the outside. It’s self check in, and so you can’t just pop down to reception or concierge and report an issue. Whilst I prefer to stay at independent or family run hotels, this is a family home that’s been converted and does not account for noise cancellation.
