About Premier Inn Oxford City Centre Westgate

Greyfriars Court sits among the streets and courtyards of central Oxford, close enough to the university colleges, museums and shopping streets that most of the city is within easy walking distance. Premier Inn Oxford City Centre Westgate makes the most of this position, putting guests near the action without the need for a car, though chargeable parking is available a short walk away at the Westgate Shopping Centre car park on Thames Street.

The hotel has 90 rooms spread across six floors, each with air conditioning, an en-suite bathroom and the usual Premier Inn comforts, plus family and accessible options for those who need them. Some rooms show their age in the finish, but the space and fittings are generally well regarded. There's a restaurant and bar on site, breakfast is served each morning, and a 24-hour reception and lift make arrivals and late nights straightforward. An electric vehicle charge point is also on hand.

Beyond the front door, Oxford's pubs, restaurants and entertainment venues are all close by, and the surrounding area suits walkers and cyclists who want to explore further afield, with a golf course also nearby. It's a practical base for a city break, built around comfort rather than fuss.

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed and all the modern amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s facilities were excellent, and breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious options. The location is perfect for exploring Oxford, with shops, restaurants, and attractions just a short walk away. Great location with ok rooms, not the greatest cleanliness, spot on for location. Have stayed in a lot of premier inns the Premier plus rooms are much nicer everywhere else. The front desk staff are excellent. It was ok for 1 night wouldn't choose for a longer stay, for what they are charging its not value for money at all

The hotel is ideally situated : not too far from the train station and about 5minutes by foot from the tourist spot! The Westgate shopping center is directly in front of it and some pub and restaurant are all around it. The check in process was annoying as it needed to be done on screen that barely worked. The hostess eventually did our check in herself. The room was nice enough, very comfy bed. The view is not exceptional but is still nice (we had a view on a little house with interesting architecture). The shower could have been more cleaned. The white draps on the windows are not correctly secured on the wall and fell on me…

Everything about our stay was up the usual standard we have come to expect from Premier Inn. The staff were very helpful, polite and did not keep us waiting even when it seemed there was only minimal staff on hand (it was a quite time in midweek March). The staff were cheerful and engaging, so we felt that they really cared about our stay at the hotel. I had a cheerful chat with the chef during breakfast. I have been to other hotels and on other stays where the staff weren't smiling or happy at all, this affects your own mood and is a bit of a downer especially at breakfast. All round our stay at Premier Inn Oxford City was comfortable, and everything we expected it to be.
