About Trewithen Caravan and Camping

A modest, family-run site just a few miles from Padstow, Trewithen Caravan and Camping offers straightforward pitches in a quiet rural setting. With both electric and non-electric grass options, plus proper facilities including showers and toilets, it's a practical base for exploring the north Cornish coast. Dogs are welcome, campfires are allowed, and WiFi comes as standard—useful touches that guests appreciate.

The site's relaxed atmosphere and friendly owners win praise, though some visitors note the facilities can feel a little tired in places. Still, if you're after a no-frills stopover within easy reach of Padstow's harbour and the South West Coast Path, Trewithen delivers decent value without unnecessary fuss.

What visitors say

We had the most relaxing time on this beautiful peaceful campsite. It’s generously spaced out, has a great dog walking area and Sandra is lovely and welcoming. The facilities are clean and fresh. And it’s very close to Patstow and all its stunning beaches. We will come back to this lovely place.

Fantastic campsite. Big pitches for large tents. Water and electric hook up. Showers and toilet block. Fantastic hosts that will help out. Been going for 6years now and never a complaint.

Our 4th visit, we love this place so much! Huge pitches, never crowded, spectacular views, peace and quiet! If it wasn’t and 8 hour drive we’d be here much more often. Sandra is lovely and so helpful, the shower block is clean and well maintained, the night sky….wow!!!! I’ve never seen so many stars. It’s a brilliant place for exploring Cornwall, we call Trewithen our happy place, it really is. I can’t praise it enough. We cant wait to be back again soon…..

We visited Trewithen for the first time this year, hopefully the first of many trips, it's perfect. Lovely big pitches, the dog walking field is huge and very well fenced. Washing and showering facilities are clean and efficient. It's a lovely relaxed site with no shouty signs saying "don't do that" "do this' etc. Modern day issues: the TV reception is excellent as is the 4G network. Just a short walk from the Cornish Arms and a few minutes drive from some of Cornwall's best beaches. And Sandra, the owner, is kind and helpful. Thanks for a great trip, see you again next year.
