About Dragonfly Camping
Tucked into its own patch of Pembrokeshire woodland, Dragonfly Camping delivers on its promise of "wild camping with perks". Each of the site's spacious pitches occupies a private forest clearing, complete with firepit, picnic table and covered shelter – plus a generous pile of sustainably sourced firewood thrown in with every booking. It's a genuinely peaceful, secluded setup, yet practical touches abound: the off-grid wash house (maximum 100 metres from any pitch) runs on solar power and serves up hot showers, while the communal area houses a shared freezer for ice packs and a couple of USB charging points to keep phones alive.
The location pays dividends. Barafundle Bay lies 25 minutes' drive south, Manor Wildlife Park and Folly Farm are both 15 minutes away, and you're well placed for castles, beaches and coastal walks across south Pembrokeshire. Note there's no wifi or electric hook-ups – the off-grid ethos is real – but for many that's precisely the point. Expect spotless facilities, accommodating hosts and the sort of quiet that only comes with trees all around.

What visitors say
Amazing site. All the pitches are a great size and there is total privacy from other pitches. Way better than an open field! Good facilities. All clean and nice hot showers. Free firewood that you just need to chop as and when you need is a great touch. It's well located for visits to Skomer, St Davids, Tenby and Pembroke. Bear in mind that on both 3 and EE networks, don't expects data speeds above 1mbps at best. But the pub up the road has WiFi if need be.

What a gem of a place! We loved our stay at the Hedgehog pitch, eating meals at the undercover picnic bench and toasting marshmallows in the firepit. My son enjoyed the swing and learning to cut firewood with his dad. The facilities were great and the shorts very warm. We'll certainly recommended to friends and will be back as it's a great location to explore the many attractions Tenby has to offer. Perfect if you want to get away from mod-cons and a hectic way of life and retreat into nature.

Fantastic campsite. Lovely wild feel to it. Along with having some great facilities like lovely hot showers, toilets and freezer. All solar powered. Kids loved the big swing and even tho there's other people on there pitches it feels very much private. Owners very accommodating and helpful. Highly highly recommended! I'd say it's my favourite campsite yet!! I've been camping for around 20 years

Lovely secluded site with 10 individual pitches. It appears that each pitch has its own covered picnic table and fire pit. Wood is provided free of charge, you just have to cut it from the pile provided. At the time of visiting there was a Shepherd hut style trailer which contained two toilet cubicles and two showers (unisex). There were also two sinks for washing up, a freezer, some charging ports and an undercover table tennis table. Phone signal isn't great so it's a good place to just switch off and immerse yourself in nature.
