About Mighty Oak Camping
Mighty Oak Camping is a green and glorious spot for a getaway in rural Pembrokeshire. With just a couple of smart bell tents set up in a quiet corner of a family-run smallholding, the site is on the edge of a village, within easy reach of a popular local gastropub. Each tent sleeps up to four guests and comes with a log-burning stove and barbecue, plus proper bedding and cosy interiors that'll make you feel right at home. For a small fee, the owners can provide charcoal and firewood.
The site's chickens, sheep and farm dogs provide a gentle rural backdrop, and you're welcome to feed the hens and help collect their eggs. The nature pond next door attracts plenty of local birdlife. From here it's under a mile to the pleasant village of Cocheston, while Upton Castle and its splendid gardens are roughly a mile in the other direction. Facilities include composting toilets, showers and a shared cooking area with communal utensils.
