About Pembrokeshire Green Giant

On this 15-acre rewilded smallholding near Kilgetty, a single static caravan sits amid wildflower meadows where red kites soar and songbirds provide the morning alarm call. The real draw here is the two-acre specimen carp lake – all tackle, rods and bait are provided, so you can focus entirely on landing your catch. When you're not fishing, grassy paths lead through the wetlands, or you can arrange use of the small heated pool (by prior arrangement only).

The caravan itself is cosy rather than luxurious, with bathroom and kitchen for self-catering – stock up on fresh eggs and home-grown produce on site, or pop to the shop in Begelly (five-minute walk) or Kilgetty village. Saundersfoot's sandy beaches lie 10 minutes' drive away, including fossil-rich Wisemans Bridge, while the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path offers stunning views and unique rock formations perfect for photography. Families will appreciate the peaceful, wildlife-rich setting, though note that dogs aren't permitted.

What visitors say

Garegin

Absolutely Stunning views! Green bridge is great and is 5 mins walk to the right from the parking, but it is a MUST to walk to the left too to enjoy magnificent views of cliffs! Be carefull - there are many faults, avoid coming too close to the edges. It can be quite windy, so windstop is recommended.

Fantastic coastal path to explore with amazing rock formations all along the coast, we were lucky enough to see plenty of seals bobbing away in the sea, there is some free parking near by so really easy access to the coastal path too.

Stunning views and definitely worth a visit! If you’re going with kids, park at Stack Rocks Car Park—it’s just a 2-minute walk. Directions can sometimes take you other car park. That also have good views
