About Pen-y-Dre Farm
Pen-y-Dre Farm sits in quiet countryside near Kilgetty, making a handy base for exploring Pembrokeshire's coastal path and beaches. It's a straightforward, dog-friendly site that keeps things simple—perfect if you want somewhere unpretentious to pitch up after a day out at Saundersfoot or Tenby.
The farm setting means plenty of space, and the welcome is warm without being over-fussy. Facilities are fairly basic, so don't expect bells and whistles, but for campers who value location and a relaxed atmosphere over on-site entertainment, it does the job well.

Perfect location for MTB’ing at Dirt Farm which is just down the road. Our family of 4 stayed for two nights with a full day at the bike park. Lovely local walks, two very nice pubs with lovely food nearby. We picked the hottest April to stay, so even the weather was great. If you’re planning on biking, there is no storage within the property but I had a van to lock ours in, maybe the owners would be happy to store somewhere? We didn’t ask. Really nice, would definitely stay again.

Stayed here during a horse riding holiday with TransWales rides. Lovely accommodation and wonderful breakfast. The rooms are spacious and the house has a lot of character. The views from the rooms are wonderful!

I had such a great experience—the room was so homely and well decorated, the bed was more comfortable than regular hotel beds, the tea and coffee comes with jar of crispy chocolate cookies, and the breakfast was impeccable. I think the egg and the mushroom was the best I’ve ever had for English breakfast. (Also, since I was hiking and got lost on my way to the hotel, the owner practically rescued me from the boggy fields in the middle of the night, and also very generously offered me a lift to the black mountains the following morning.) Couldn’t have been better.
