East Hook Cottages - The Barn at East Hook
Pembrokeshire
View on Google MapsPhoto: East Hook Farm Properties
You arrive at The Barn at East Hook to find a converted stone building arranged over two floors, with an immediate sense of space. Ground level opens into a generous living area with French doors to the garden, dining space, and kitchen in one flowing room—the kind of layout that lets everyone stay connected while cooking or playing games. A galleried seating area overlooks this main space, perfect for a quieter moment. The first bedroom, with a king bed and full bathroom, is also on the ground floor. Upstairs, a second bedroom contains three single beds and its own ensuite, with external stairs leading directly outside.
The property sits at the western edge of South Pembrokeshire, surrounded by open countryside and wider skies than you'd expect. A shared wildflower meadow and private path lead down to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path itself. The enclosed garden has a picnic table; parking takes 2–3 cars. One dog stays free; a second costs £25 and must be on a lead (this is working farmland). Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and fast internet are included, along with an EV charging point. A washing machine and tumble dryer are in the utility room. No smoking throughout.

Goodness what a wonderful week we had here. Such a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need. We would have been quite happy just spending all week sitting in the garden watching the birds and the incredible view. However, it is so convenient for the Skomer boats, a couple of trips around the island meant we experienced the most glorious and overwhelming amount of puffins and other seabirds! In the water, in the air, all around us, absolute dream come true! Lovely local walks, beaches and food spots. Could not be happier!

Great place to stay if you want to get away from it all though plenty of beaches to explore and St David's not too far away. Property was excellent, great sea views and massive skies.
