Cardigan and its stretch of Pembrokeshire coastline draw visitors for the beaches, walking trails and quiet charm of this part of Wales. Hafod Grove is a substantial Georgian property that occupies half an acre of private parkland near the Pembrokeshire-Ceredigion-Carmarthenshire borders, positioned as a base for large family gatherings or groups of friends who want the run of a whole house to themselves. Seven bedrooms and five bathrooms are spread across two floors, with enough beds to sleep 18 people comfortably.
The ground floor opens into a large living space with a 65-inch television, dining area and kitchen fitted with an Aga, electric range, dishwasher and two washing machines to handle the practicalities of feeding and laundry for numbers. One bedroom on this level has French doors onto a patio. Upstairs, bedrooms vary from doubles and kingsize beds to rooms with singles and day beds, with most ensuite or served by the five bathrooms. Original sash windows and high ceilings give the house its period character throughout. Electricity, bed linen and wifi are included; one dog or cat can stay free of charge. There is parking for five cars on site and the property is non-smoking.
The location suits those wanting both a proper house kitchen and proximity to the Pembrokeshire coast. The nearest beach and town amenities are within easy reach, though the private grounds offer a quiet retreat after a day exploring further afield.

We had such a lovely holiday staying at Hafod Villa. The cottage was so comfortable and perfect for us and our dogs. The garden is massive and has hedges and fences all around. An eye would need to be kept on any determined escape artists but for our dogs, it was perfect. There are lovely walks straight from the door and the area is beautifully quiet. The lack of light pollution provides a wonderful display of stars as soon as night falls. Would thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing holiday in beautiful countryside.
