Cycle Route 4 runs within 300 metres of Llys Isaf, and the twin beaches at Aberbach and Abermawr are visible across rolling fields. The cottage itself sits hidden down a wooded drive, approached through gardens filled with mature planting. A former coachman's cottage, it stands alone on its own grounds, though shares the wider 1½-acre woodland with the owners' adjoining house.
Inside, a wood burner warms the living and dining space; the kitchen is compact but properly equipped for cooking, with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher and microwave. Upstairs, one double bedroom and a bathroom with shower over the bath. The owners have left a piano in the cottage, along with a library of CDs and books. The garden offers a terrace with seating and a swing seat, with a barbecue available on request. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen, towels and logs for the stove are all included.
This is one property sleeping two people, with private parking for one car. No smoking inside. It suits anyone wanting a quiet base for walking or cycling, or simply for a retreat; the piano is there if you play. Check-in is after 16:30, and checkout before 10:30.
