Mulberry House is an architect-restored stone dwelling set back from the road down a private track, surrounded by an acre of lawn within 15 acres of rolling countryside. The restoration has kept original character while installing modern heating and systems; what results is a substantial family house with slate flooring downstairs and oak upstairs, warmed by ground-source underfloor heating and two woodburners. Five bedrooms sleep up to 9: four with kingsize beds (three with ensuite showers, one with a bath and shower), plus a bedroom with two linked single beds and a fifth with a single bed. Four further bathrooms serve the layout across two floors. Parking is on site, and the enclosed garden with sitting-out furniture offers plenty of lawn for children to run around.
The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave—and there are two living spaces with Smart TVs and woodburners downstairs. A utility room has washing and drying machines. Wifi is provided, as are bed linen, towels and the initial logs for the stoves; heating costs £60 per week during winter months. Travel cots, highchairs and stairgates are available. One well-behaved dog stays free. No smoking throughout. Haverfordwest is the nearest town; the Pembrokeshire coast and its beaches are within driving distance.
