The Cart Shed is a converted barn set entirely on the ground floor, which means level access throughout—useful if stairs are a concern. Two bedrooms sleep five: one with a kingsize bed, the other with a bunk and a single. The shower room is walk-in, and heating is oil central. Essentials like electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels come as standard, along with a cot and highchair if needed. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob for proper cooking, and there's a shared utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer if you're staying longer. One well-behaved dog stays free, though do note there's an unfenced pond in the shared garden area. Parking for two cars is on-site, and an electric vehicle charging point is available at cost.
Pembrokeshire's 40-plus beaches lie within a half-hour drive. The coastal path attracts walkers, dolphins often appear in St Brides Bay, and Broad Haven—about 13 miles away—has water sports and rock pools. Haverfordwest itself is seven miles off, offering year-round attractions. This location works well for cycling, horse riding and birdwatching as well as beach trips. The open-plan living space has an electric fire and television for quieter days.

We stayed for a week from 26th July at the Corn Loft. It was luxurious and had everything we needed, Jenny was such a lovely host and nothing too much trouble. The gardens were beautifully maintained and our autistic son found so much peace. It was very central to travel to places like St David’s, Newgate, Tenby, Freshwater West etc as well as being very near to Haverford West for groceries etc! We will be back.

My charming, rustic-chic cottage was light, spacious and clean. Surrounded by beautiful nature including a pond, horses and chickens. It felt very tranquil. And the gorgeous bohemian-feeling town of Narberth, and stunning beaches of Pembrokeshire was only a short drive away.

Stayed for a long weekend, first time in Pembrokeshire and it didn’t disappoint! The owners are absolutely lovely and welcoming. The cottage felt like a home, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh eggs from their chickens! The grounds are lovely to walk around, with some horses in the field and goats in the barn. Incredible walks along the coast were within easy reach by car. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!
