Pembrokeshire draws visitors for its coastal paths, beaches and countryside, and Haverfordwest sits at the heart of it all. The Corn Loft is a converted barn on a working farm, positioned to reach the beaches and walking routes that define the region. Seven miles from town, the property gives you both the quietness of rural surroundings and easy access to the attractions most people come for.

Everything is on a single storey, reached by slate steps—two double bedrooms, a bathroom with shower over bath, and a living space that combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas. The electric oven and hob let you cook properly if you want to; the electric fire takes the chill off quieter evenings. Two cars can park on site. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, along with a welcome pack. There is an unfenced pond in the shared garden area, which also has seating and furniture. A shared games room contains a pool table and snooker table; a shared utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer. The property sleeps 4 and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. No smoking is permitted.

Wiston village is nearby; the coast—including Broad Haven with its water sports and rock pools—is roughly half an hour away. The coastal path attracts serious walkers, and dolphins are often seen in St Brides Bay.

We stayed for a week from 26th July at the Corn Loft. It was luxurious and had everything we needed, Jenny was such a lovely host and nothing too much trouble. The gardens were beautifully maintained and our autistic son found so much peace. It was very central to travel to places like St David’s, Newgate, Tenby, Freshwater West etc as well as being very near to Haverford West for groceries etc! We will be back.

My charming, rustic-chic cottage was light, spacious and clean. Surrounded by beautiful nature including a pond, horses and chickens. It felt very tranquil. And the gorgeous bohemian-feeling town of Narberth, and stunning beaches of Pembrokeshire was only a short drive away.

Stayed for a long weekend, first time in Pembrokeshire and it didn’t disappoint! The owners are absolutely lovely and welcoming. The cottage felt like a home, it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including fresh eggs from their chickens! The grounds are lovely to walk around, with some horses in the field and goats in the barn. Incredible walks along the coast were within easy reach by car. Really enjoyed our stay, thank you!
