About The Paddock

Tucked into five acres of countryside near Castlemartin, The Paddock offers a peaceful base for exploring the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This dog-friendly glamping site occupies the grounds of an 18th-century farmhouse, with space to breathe and a hot tub for post-adventure soaks. The tough Iron Man Wales bike route passes the top of the drive, while Freshwater West's surf breaks lie just under three miles away – perfect for coasteering, kayaking and coastal path rambles.

Between expeditions, slow the pace by feeding the resident pigs and chickens or gathering round the firepit with a book. Facilities include showers, toilets and parking, though there's no access to the main house itself, so pack accordingly. The Speculation Inn sits a five-minute drive away for proper pub meals, while Castlemartin village has a café serving fry-ups.

With a 4.9 Google rating and a genuinely remote feel, it's a solid choice for outdoorsy types – just note you'll need to drive 15 minutes to Pembroke for shop provisions.

Jos makes your stay like home with the most fabulous breakfasts especially the poached eggs straight from her beloved hens outside your room window. Warm, comfortable rooms and very clean Good position for Haverforwest, St David's, Fishguard and Cardigan. A little gem

Lovely quiet home on a farm. Not very far to drive to places you need. Lovely views from the window. The rooms are lovely, comfortable and clean. There is a fridge in your room which is very handy and also there is tea and coffee making facilities in your room with a nice selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Lovely size bathroom with towels and toiletries supplied. The breakfast is plentiful and so tasty and good quality. choices of fruit, Cereal etc. The host Joss is a lovely lady who does everything she can to make sure you have a lovely stay. She is attentive but not intrusive. We stayed for 3 nights due to cancellation of ferry crossing, luckily for us joss let us stay on. We would definitely recommend this lovely home to stay in and would definitely come back.

We just stayed here for one evening with our French bulldog. Stunning place. Very lovely warm welcome from Joss. Our room with en-suite was so cosy, clean and relaxing. Great night sleep! Lovely view from our window. Our breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. Thank you Joss!

A lovely relaxing place to stay. Joss, the owner, really makes you feel at home and has lots of advice on places to visit and places to eat if you request it. The rooms are furnished to a very high standard. We slept in a really comfy bed and enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. This was our second visit and would definitely choose this accommodation if we are down that way again! Highly recommended.
