Nash Fields Cottage

Pembrokeshire

Photo: Nash Fields Cottage

Haverfordwest sits inland from some of Pembrokeshire's best coastal walks, and the Haven waterway itself—visible from Nash Fields Cottage—offers quiet places to explore by foot or water. The Preseli Hills are within reach for hiking, while Llangwm village, a former fishing centre a few miles away, has two pubs, a shop and post office for supplies. The cottage suits families or groups of six who want countryside rather than beachfront, with one dog able to stay at no extra cost.

This detached property has three bedrooms (one kingsize, one double, two singles) across two floors, each with its own bathroom. Downstairs is an open-plan living and dining space with a wood-fired atmosphere, while the kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. An enclosed garden with patio gives privacy, and you can park on site. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; the cottage is non-smoking.

What makes it work is the space and the quiet. Three bathrooms mean nobody queues in the morning, and a circular dining table seats the whole party together. You get a proper home to yourself rather than serviced accommodation.

We love this cottage. We have been coming here for 4 - 5 years. Will is always very accommodating and friendly. So quiet, charming and it feels like a home from home. The fields surrounding this cottage are lovely and its so nice to hear the sounds of the countryside - the tractors, livestock noise and general rural life. The cottage is so cosy and is ideally located for all the attractions and close to main roads.

Perfect location to explore Pembrokeshire, great for 5 adults, 1 toddler and a dog! Clean and well equipped.

6 people and dogs but main room was a bit small and tired. Bedrooms good. Small kitchen. Peaceful and relaxing though.
