This three-bedroom cottage began life as part of the stables at Carew Castle, and the building's history still shows in its exposed stone walls, timber beams and inglenook fireplace. The owners have spent three decades here, blending the structure's original character with modern comforts—shuttered windows, a woodburner for cooler evenings, and the practical touches that make a holiday work.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds a games room with table tennis, a sitting room facing the garden, a dining room that opens onto a patio through Georgian doors, and a kitchen fitted for proper cooking. Upstairs are three bedrooms: the main has a super king bed and ensuite with bath and shower; the second offers a king bed and ensuite shower; the third contains two single beds. All three bathrooms are ensuite. Parking is available on site for one car, with additional space nearby. You have the whole property to yourselves, and one pet is welcome. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen, towels and initial logs for the fire are included; heating runs from October through April. An external utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The cottage does not accommodate children under 5.
Carew Inn is within reach, and the coastal setting means beaches and Pembrokeshire's walking routes are nearby. The enclosed lawned garden with patio gives you a private outdoor space.
