Penpistyll Rural Retreats - East Barn

East Barn is a converted barn on a working rural holding outside Fishguard, Pembrokeshire. The property stands alone on 7 acres of grounds, though these are shared with the owner's property nearby. It sleeps four: a king bedroom and a room with two single beds, plus one bathroom. The whole place is yours for the duration of your stay.

Downstairs there's a living room with a woodburner and French doors onto a patio, a kitchen with electric oven and induction hob, a utility room with washer-dryer, and a sun room with a step up. Upstairs are the two bedrooms and the bathroom, which has both a bath and shower cubicle. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and logs for the fire are included. The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals. Heating comes from an air source system with underfloor distribution throughout.

Outside, a lawned garden and large patio face south and get sun most of the day; there's garden furniture and a barbecue. The 7-acre grounds themselves are largely open countryside. Parking for two cars is private. One dog is welcome, though it must be kept on a lead as sheep graze nearby. Fishguard town centre—with its cafés, galleries, restaurants and working harbour—is a five-minute drive away. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and its network of coastal walks are within reach. No smoking inside the property.
